Children’s Evangelism Ministry

Cornerstone UMC’s Children’s Evangelism Ministry goes out into the community once a month to evangelize and serve. Children grades pre-K through 5th serve others and spread God’s Word through a different event at a different location each time. All our activities physically take place off the church grounds, so our children can see what it’s like to really be in the community doing God’s work. We are not only serving those in need in our community, but teaching our children to be the hands and feet of Christ.

The purpose of this ministry is to:

  1. Help children serve others and bring the love of Christ to them
  2. Educate our kids on what it means to evangelize and serve others, outside of the church, outside of their “usual” daily routines
  3. Ultimately bring those outside the church to Christ

The type of events range from packaging food to supply economically disadvantaged children in our county with food for the weekends, to cleaning up the yards of elderly persons, to planting flowers for shut ins, to cheering up the sick.

Please contact Ann Warren at childrensevangelism@cornerstoneumc.com with any questions. We hope you’ll join us to serve others in the community and bring them to Christ!
